from what i heard, you only keep your name and you have to recreate your characters, or they get reset.
hopefully someone can check that |

Of course we all start from scratch as that shield you have, the armour I have, etc. may not be balanced with the final release of the game. It only makes sense so cya in pre-searing ascalaon maybe.

Last I heard, you keep your name and your character is reset back to what it is at ORIGINAL creation. In other words, your build will be there, ie, the hair, features etc, but you won't have anything you'd have picked up or crafted during the BWEs.

the latest from the site
If you have played in a Beta Weekend Event, your characters will not be removed from the servers. This is because we tie your character names to your existing characters, or to placeholder characters. All characters will by necessity be reset to starting levels and will possess starting skills and items when we release Guild Wars. |

I enjoy starting over. We get to keep our names and characters and start over knowing a heck of a lot more than we did before the betas.

I believe last time I checked, Guild Names will be preserved from the Beta Weekend Events into the release version of Guild Wars. No need for a petition, we got ya covered. __________________ Gaile Gray Community Relations Manager ArenaNet |

1500? That's like pocket change - you should be able to pharm it in an hour or two without trying too hard.
Peace, -CxE

Keep in mind that not all of us are named Ensign... and not all of us will be in Lion's Arch before the end of the first HOUR of live gameplay. lol
But yeah, 1500 isn't something to worry about...

otherwise an established guild would have a good size head start so i think the name is what you get
maybe the cape design but you pay for it again |

I'm guessing the guilds will still be there, but no capes and no guild hall. It'll be just like you'd spent a mere 100 gp to get the tag on your name and that's it. [/PURE SPECULATION MODE] |
